| Paul Ritchard “Ritch” Carey, age 38 of Miamisburg, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009 at his residence. Ritch was born in Dayton to James Carey of Savannah, GA and Deb (Christman) Carey of Miamisburg. Ritch was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Christman and paternal grandmother Patricia Carey. In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory his beloved second mother, Sherri Carey of Savannah, GA; his maternal grandmother, Estella “Del” Christman, paternal grandfather, Dean Carey; uncles, Dennis Christman, John (Cyndi) Carey, David (Theresa) Carey; an aunt, Joy Carey; other close relatives and his best friends Greg and Chris. Paul was a 1989 graduate of Miamisburg High School and a member of Sons of the American Legion Post 165. Ritch loved music, especially the Grateful Dead, Ohio State football, Nascar and was an avid Bengals fan. A memorial service will begin 6:00pm Friday, December 11, 2009 following visitation with the family from 4:00-6:00 pm at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Pastor Michael Hout. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry at 1133 Edwin C. Moses Blvd., Suite 300, Dayton, OH 45458 or St. Jacob Food Pantry at 213 E.
